It has been said, “There are River people and there are Ocean people.”

Which one are you?

Dive into two bodies of water that have shaped Nanaimo, Snuneymuxw Territory – the Millstone River, Bowen Park and the Ocean at Neck Point.

Join Nicole Mion (Springboard Performance/Body of Water, Calgary), Danielea Castell (Water Gratitude Project, Quesnel/China), local dance artist, Genevieve Johnson, and local participants in the culminating performance of a creative process this Saturday, May 20, in a walking-tour style presentation followed by a pot-luck dinner and time of sharing.

Immerse yourself as you witness the performers use movement, sound, story, song, and installation to convey Water’s essential brilliance, generosity and it’s essential relationship to us, to our community and to the eco-systems which it feeds.
