As has been the tradition for many years, the Christmas Tea and Bazaar will be held on Saturday, Nov.12, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. in the Community Hall.

This year, for the first time, St. Martin’s Anglican Church is joining with the United Church to bring you more of everything. This means that St. Martin’s hope their many friends will come out on Nov.12 to buy favourite baked goodies, as they will not have their usual table at the December school fair.

Our bazaar is deservedly well-known for its fabulous baking: Christmas cakes, tarts, pies, breads and every kind of cookie. Wonderful frozen soups are ready to take home for that busy-day meal. Master gardeners at the plant table will not only sell you plants, but answer questions. The granny table features perfect gifts starting at 25 cents: knickknacks, jewelry, kitchenware and more. The book table offers much to read on cold winter nights.

Then when you have filled your bags to the brim, sit and have a hot cup of tea with delicious goodies before you head for home.

Best of all, the proceeds go to charities on the island.

Look forward to seeing you.
