Twilight Radio Theatre

If you are a fan of Old Time Radio you will be holding your breath as the bell tolls midnight, awaiting the greatest horror series on the airwaves: Lights out…everybody!

On April 4th and 5th, at The Surf Lodge, Twilight Radio Theatre will breathe life into one of the creepiest episodes of the series, “It Happened”; an unbelievable tale of a spoiled brat who is kidnapped and finds herself in the long-forgotten sewer tunnels of Paris. What happens next will make you shudder!

But fret not; there will be no nightmares for you, as T.R.T. always likes to go out with a giggle. The second act features a side-splitting episode of Duffy’s Tavern that has Archie embracing a new medium: Television, by writing a TV script for Mickey Rooney. Flinging phrases around with a cheerful disregard for grammar, “Cecile B. DeArchie” manages to insult the Hollywood star at every turn.

April’s show marks the end of Twilight Radio Theatre’s 3rd season and is therefore your last chance to win Season passes for next year. Simply send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to T.R.T. at 694 Dogwood Cres., Gabriola, V0R 1X4 to receive your fan club kit with secret decoder wheel. Then… come to the show!

Showtime is 7:30pm, tickets are $20 and are available from North Road Sports and The Surf Lodge. Ticket-holders may call 250-247-9231 for pre-show dinner reservations.
