Join us Saturday, June 13, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 14, 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Gabriola Theatre Centre, as Lulu turns 10! presents the last of Lulu’s 10th birthday celebration season - the world premiere of Joëlle Anthony’s brand new play Round the Bend at Salt Creek.

This staged reading will feature actors Joëlle Anthony, Victor Anthony and Portia Boehm, and will explore dreams, hopes and stories of loss - all packed with laughs and old-time traditional music arranged by Victor.

Joëlle Anthony is a writer and actress. Her novels include Restoring Harmony and The Right & the Real. She’s written and performed Women in Baseball – a one woman show, and is a graduate of the Player’s Workshop of Chicago. Round the Bend at Salt Creek is her first full-length play.

Victor Anthony has made his living around the edges of the art world for the past thirty years. He’s worked as a musician, an actor and a photographer, occasionally all in the same week. A native of Nashville, he and his wife immigrated to Canada in 2007.

Advance tickets are $15 and available at North Road Sports and Clothing; door tickets are $20; youth (16 and under) $5. For more information please email luluturns10@gmail.com or visit www.luluperformingarts.ca. See you at the show!

Then stay tuned. We’ve had an extraordinary 10th birthday season and a big celebration is in the works (complete with cake!).
