The Roxy needs our full support right now.

Come and enjoy an evening of song and celebration for the benefit of The Roxy, as it faces some challenging times.

Paul Gellman, Brad Shipley, and Jacquie Parker-Snedker will perform a concert along with some special guests, and all of the proceeds will be donated to The Roxy. Paul, a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has been performing for over 40 years and brings a warm ambiance to the stage. His performances are uplifting, inspiring and filled with soul. Brad is a multi-instrumentalist who has been performing for 20 years and is known for his jazz guitar and mandolin playing, as well as his role as musical director of the Gabriola Chamber Ensemble. Jacqui on the bass, has studied with jazz greats Wyatt Ruther and Earl Mays (Dizzy Gillespie’s bass player), and toured with numerous bands throughout Canada and the US. She is also the founder of Broadband here on Gabriola.

Special guests include Jake Galbraith, Fraser Gabbott and Scott Durant, who along with Paul, will perform a preview set of the upcoming Dylan Tribute show happening on January 12th and 13th.

During the evening there will also be a silent auction featuring some wonderful Gabriola artists, artisans, and service providers, as well as goodies and beverages, all to help our beloved Roxy survive and thrive.

This is a true community event in service of a true community treasure.  The Roxy is a unique place for social gatherings, concerts, movies, informative speakers and presentations, you name it. The Roxy is an important part of the Gabriola community. So come and support Stevie B and The Roxy and listen to some great music.

The Roxy used to be able to function with a membership of 200 but this year the rent has gone up. Now a membership of 300 is needed or The Roxy will be closing its doors in mid January.

150 people have committed to a 2019 Roxy membership so far, but another 150 members are needed by the end of December.

How wonderful if the goal of 300 memberships could be reached by Christmas.

Concert from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Naturally taking place at The Roxy - 377 Berry Point Road
