Sat., Apr. 20 - Spinners and Weavers Art and More Craft Sale. 10am to 4pm. At the Rollo Senior Centre. Also featuring a Make and Take Craft Table for Kids.

Sun., Apr. 21 - The annual Gabriola Easter Egg Hunt is being hosted by the Gabriola Rod, Gun, and Conservation Club at the Gabriola Commons. Fun & candy for the whole family. Egg hunting areas from 0 to 12+. Start lining up at 12:45.The hunt begins at 1pm!

Tues., Apr. 16 - Advanced Care Planning Day. 11 am – 1 pm at the Library. Claudia Brann from the Gabriola Home Hospice Program will have an info table to help you learn more about advanced care planning. Free, drop in.

 Thurs., Apr. 25 - Fibre Arts Circle at the Library. 2-4 pm. Bring your projects and enjoy an afternoon of tea and crafting with other fibre enthusiasts. Beginners and newcomers welcome. Free, drop in.

Sat., Apr. 27 - Saturday Storytime @ the Rollo. Partnering with PHC’s Stepping Up, Stepping Out program. 11:30 am – noon. The Library is offering an intergenerational storytime that brings together our island’s young families with seniors in the day program. Bring your little ones for fun stories, songs, and rhymes. Free, drop in.

Sat., Apr. 27 - Book Launch with Liliana Kleiner. 2-3:30 pm at the Library. Female Nature - Sacred Matter is a collection of oil paintings and essays on the topic of the Sacred Feminine – gender, ecology, mythology and the role of the artist as creator of consciousness in modern society. This is a free, drop in event. Everyone welcome.

Sat., May 4 - Death Café at the Library. 1 pm. A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives, or themes. Last one before summer break. Free, but space is limited. Please call the library at 250-247-7878 to sign up.
