Sat., Apr. 30 - People for a Healthy Community (PHC) invite you to their annual fundraiser, “Spring Extravaganza & Charity Silent Auction” from 5pm - 9pm at Silva Bay Restaurant & Pub, 3383 South Road. Tickets $20, available at PHC, Arbutus Building Supply, The Hive, Silva Bay Restaurant & Pub or North Road Sports & Clothing. Includes choice of wine, beer or soft drink & choice of beef or veggie burger + salad or fries, fish + chips or vegetarian lasagna + salad.

Wednesdays - Family Storytime at the Library. 10:30-11 am. Favourite stories, songs, and rhymes! For children birth to 5 years. Drop in.

Saturday, August 13: Annual Salmon BBQ at the Gabriola Island Community Hall. 4pm to 7pm. All funds raised support the Gabriola Island Community Hall Association
