Tues., Apr. 8 at 11 am and Thurs., Apr. 10 at 7pm - A Night with the Stars:  The audience is treated to excerpts from films in which Antony has performed, especially ones with major stars, and hear about his encounters with them. 11am. Sat., Apr. 12 - Movie Night at the HOPE Centre showing Midnight in Paris. Doors open at 4:30pm, movie runs from 5-7:30. $15 per person or $40 for 4 people. Includes fresh-baked pie, popcorn, coffee/tea, childcare by ECE Genevieve Cooper and the Teen Peer Helpers. All proceeds support the Teen Peer Helpers. For more info ph. Sun., Apr. 13 - The Gabriola Chamber Ensemble presents Tradition! Part II. Join us Sunday, April 13th, 2014 at 5pm, at the Haven’s Phoenix Auditorium, as the Gabriola Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Leah Hokanson, presents Part II of our year-long celebration of World Folk Music entitled Tradition! Sun, Apr. 20 - Annual Easter Sunday Egg Hunt hosted by the Gabriola Rod, Gun and Conservation Club. Lineups start at 12:45, the hunt begins at 1pm sharp at the Commons.

Come to the Gabriola Professional Centre on North Road between April 21 and June 13 to enjoy the watercolour paintings of Pam Tempelmayr of Whalebone Studio. Pam has been painting for more than 40 years and has assembled a collection of her many “story-within-story” paintings in her fish and whale series especially for display at the Centre. Works shown will include many paintings not previously seen on Gabriola Island.
