Listings are $10/wk or get four weeks for $35.

Wed., Dec. 19 - Family Movie Night at the Gabriola Library. 5 pm. We’ll be watching The Muppet Christmas Carol on the big screen, complete with popcorn. Free, drop in. Everyone welcome.

Thurs., Dec 20 - Seniors Christmas Luncheon. 10:30am -12:30pm, at the Rollo Centre. Listen and sing along to the songs of the season with Leah Hokanson and her fabulous choir. Call Suzette at 250-325-1675 for more info.

Thurs., Dec. 20 - Fibre Arts Circle at the Library. 2-4 pm. Bring your projects and enjoy an afternoon of tea and crafting with other fibre enthusiasts. Beginners and newcomers welcome. Free, drop in.

Tues., Jan. 1 - Polar Bear Swim at Twin Beaches. High Noon.

Thurs., Jan. 3 - Meet Maggie Doyne. 2-4 at the Arts Council Hall. Maggie the cofounder of BlinkNow is the mother and guardian of over 50 children, operates a school for over 350 impoverished orphans and so much more. Come here her inspirational story and learn how you can be involved. Hosted by the Gabriola Ecumenical Society. Donations are welcomed. Doors open at 2:00. for more info. www.gabriolaecumenical.com

Sat., Jan. 12 - Author talk with Cynthia J. Faryon. 2 pm at the Library. Join us as welcome local author, ghost writer, and Canadian historian Cynthia J. Faryon, who will be delivering a presentation on how to engage a traditional publisher. Free, drop in. Everyone welcome.

Peer Led Exercise Program Holiday hours: Last class of 2018 is Fri Dec 21st, all classes begin again the week of Jan 7, 2019.
