Tues., Wed. & Thurs., Dec. 5, 6 & 7 – Twilight Radio Theatre  Presents Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer – a Live Radio Drama, starring Chris Jans, Kathy McIntyre, David Botten, Adam Kerby and special guest: Tina Jones, at the Surf Lodge. 7:30pm. Thurs., Dec. 7 - Gabriola Garden Club meeting will be dedicated to Holiday decorations and wreath-making, with demonstrations by Vargha, Sue, and Morag. Doors Open:  6:30 pm / Meeting:  7:30 pm.  Everyone welcome.

Fri., Dec. 8 - Special Presentation at the Museum, 12:30-2:00. Come listen to Master Luthier Patrick Olmstead’s music, and watch Snuneymuxw basket weaver David Spiritwolf Bodaly demonstrate traditional weaving techniques, answer questions, and tell stories. Donations appreciated.

Sat., Dec. 9 - Caregiver Café with Janet Dunnett. 1pm-2:30pm at the Library. Join the author of The Dwindling: A Daughter’s Caregiving Jouney to the Edge of Life as she facilitates a discussion to share stories, wisdom, and savvy about what quality looks like in end of life care. Mon. Dec. 18 - Christmas Alive! 7:30 pm in Folklife Village; the Biblical Christmas Story, real people and animals; under 45 minutes long; free family event.

Library Weekly Events - Lego Club on Tuesdays 3pm to 4:30pm. Family Storytime on Wednesdays 10:30am to 11am. French Conversation Circle on Thursdays 1pm to 2pm. Spanish Conversation Circle on Thursdays 2pm to 3pm. 

Fridays - The Palette People continue to Host ART Demonstrations, Discussions & Coffee. 685 North Rd Rollo Centre. 10am-12pm. Nov. 24: Tony Grove Artist  “Painting, Carving and Teaching”. Currently the Medical Clinic, has a display of Tony Grove Paintings upstairs. Dec. 8: Ken Manninen and  David Coe  “Lively Watercolours” Just returned from a Jean Haines (British) workshop class.

Peer Led Exercise Group - Mon thru Thurs, from 11am-12pm at Gabriola Rec Society Office (beside the elementary school). Fridays at Community Hall 11am-12pm.
