Sun,. Mar 1 and Wed., Mar. 4 - Antony Holland revives the No Bells & Whistles Theatre Company starting with a “Black Comedy” featuring Garry Davey, Antony Holland, and Frank Moher. Shows on Sun., Mar. 1at 2pm. and Wed., Mar. 4 at 7pm. Both at the WI Hall. Admission by donation at the door. This is the first in a series of performances scheduled to take place in the first week of every month of 2015.

Tues., Mar 3 - The Surf Lodge presents award winning-Canadian singer/songwriter, the Maritime’s own Lennie Gallant with Jeremy Gallant on Keyboard and Sean Kemp on Violin. Friday, April 2 to Sunday, April 12 - Isle of the Arts Festival. Gabriola Arts Council. Discover your most artistic and creative self at the Isle of the Arts Festival, with more than 40 workshops and events to help you enjoy, celebrate and explore arts and culture. Fibre arts, theatre arts, painting, printmaking, poetry and more!

Saturday May 16 - Opening Weekend of the Gabriola Farmers' Market at the Agi Hall. Traditionally open  10am to 1pm, every Saturday between Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day weekend.

Sunday, August 2 - 4th Annual Brickyard Beast 10km road race. "One of the toughest 10k Road Races in Canada! Come and Slay the Beast!"

Thursday, August 6 - Gabriola Lions' Club Concert on the Green. Gabriola Golf Course. 4pm. The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Lions' with roughly 1,500 people on the driving range of the Golf Club enjoying the music, food and dog days of summer weather.

Thursday, August 13 to Sunday, August 16 - 7th Annual Gabriola Theatre Festival. Bold, Inclusive, Innovative, Incredible Energy, Incredible Theatre. Take the plunge on BC’s beautiful Gabriola Island. Call for Submissions for 2015 are open at

Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12 - Gabriola Arts Council Thanksgiving Studio Tour. Gabriola Island—the “Isle of the Arts”—has the sixth highest concentration of artists in Canada. While every day is a celebration of art on this lush and lively island, on Thanksgiving weekend the festivities reach dizzying heights.
