Fri., Jan. 27 - Stuffed Animal Sleepover & Storytime at the Library. 3:30 – 4 pm. Celebrate Family Literacy Day with a special pajama storytime & stuffed animal sleepover. Leave your stuffie overnight at the library and return on Saturday to find out what they got up to while you were sleeping! Free, drop in. Best suited for kids 8 and under.

Sat., Jan. 28 - Gabriola’s first Fix-it-Fair, at the Commons. 1 - 4 p.m. Volunteers will help you figure out how to fix broken stuff — small appliances, electronics, phones, clothing, bikes — Free!

Wed., Feb. 8 - Gabriola Land and Trails Trust AGM at The Roxy. Doors open at 6.30 for member registration. Our guest speaker Elke Wind will be introduced at 7pm, to talk about “Habitat Management for Amphibians and Reptiles.” The business meeting will start at about 8.15, and will include the election of Directors.
