Fri., Mar. 22 - Art Cafe at the Rollo. 10-12am by donation. Sandra Bower Artist extraordinaire, is new to the island. She makes her living with illustrations and online workshops. She markets for fabrics, greeting cards and branding.

Sat., Mar. 23 - Saturday Storytime @ the Rollo. 11:30 am – noon. Partnering with PHC’s Stepping Up, Stepping Out program, the Library is offering an intergenerational storytime that brings together our island’s young families with seniors in the day program. Bring your little ones for fun stories, songs, and rhymes. Free, drop in.

Sat. Mar. 23 - GAFA update on Freighter Anchorage issue. 2pm to 4pm. Community Hall. Hear the latest and bring your questions. Guest presentation: Isobel Pearsall - Pacific Salmon Foundation and The Salish Sea Marine Survival Project.

Sun., Mar. 31 - The Gabriola Senior Citizens Association will hold its Annual General Meeting at the Rollo Seniors’ Centre, on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. The AGM will be preceded by a Rollo Open House at 1:30 p.m. Both GSCA members and Gabriola community members interested in viewing our newly renovated facility are welcome to join us. Coffee, tea, cookies, and good cheer provided free of charge.

Sun., Mar. 31 - Gabriola Island Singers - Spring Concert - One performance only at 2:30pm. Music Director Gail Lund and the Gabriola Island Singers present their annual Spring Concert at the Community Hall. Special Guests are Cindy Shepard, The Lund’smen and The Folk Group. Admission at the door is $15; children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are free. Refreshments.
