Wed., May 29 - Walk with your Doc 10th Anniversary. Take steps towards good health. Join the Gabriola doctors for a short, fun community walk. 4pm at the Gabriola Medical Clinic on Chuch Street.

Wed., May 29 - Join a public discussion on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). Ask your questions, make your own choices. 7 pm at Rollo Centre.

Thurs., May 30 - Gabriola Cruisers invites all Members and Car & Bike Enthusiasts to our monthly meeting. Gabriola Golf Club. 7pm. Those wishing to eat should arrive earlier. Parking can be in the staff parking area or the club parking lot.

Thurs., May 30 - Fibre Arts Circle at the Library. 2-4 pm. Bring your projects and enjoy an afternoon of tea and crafting with other fibre enthusiasts. Beginners and newcomers welcome. Free, drop in.

Fri. May 31 - Roxy Coffeehouse featuring Heidi Burtenshaw. Canadiana Folk, popular Oldies, European Polkas, some Country/Swing, Alpine Yodeling. Open Stage 6:30, Feature 8:30, Admission $10.

Fri., May 31 & Sat., June 1 - The Return of Purple Kush’n. Dust off your platforms and start teasing your fro. Gabriola’s own 11-piece Funk Unit is back and will be funkin’ up The Skol Pub starting at 9pm. Advance tix $15- at North Road Sports.

 Sat., June 1 & Sun., June 2 - Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale. 10am – 4pm at the Community Hall. Gabriola’s favourite book sale is back! Browse through hundreds of books, CDs, and more. All proceeds help support library programs and services on Gabriola Island. Bring a bag--you’ll need it!

Sun., June 2 - GaLTT’s Cross-Gabriola Trek on public trails from Whalebone to the Golf Club (approx. 13 km). Leave Joyce Lockwood Pk at 10am. Arrive Golf Club at 3pm. You may leave or join the walk at Tait near North Rd at noon, or at Jeanette Ave entrance to 707 at 1:30.

Wed., June 5 - Film. All You Need Is Klaus. 7pm. At the Roxy. Klaus Voorman –Bassist, Artist extraordinaire, quiet but interesting guy. Close friend since Hamburg and bassist for various Beatles. Weekly Events
