Sat., Nov. 11 - Remembrance Day Service. 10:45am start. At the Memorial Cairn at the Gabriola RCMP Detachment. 

Sat., Nov. 11 - Gabriola Island Singers present a Remembrance Day Tribute to our Veterans. Community Hall. 2:30pm. Sing-a-long and dance to music of the 40s. A display of war memorabilia by the Museum Society. Silent Auction with proceeds to the Community Hall. Tickets $15 at the door. Veterans free.

Sun., Nov. 12 - Gabriola Island Community Hall Association will hold its Annual General Meeting in the Community Hall at 2 p.m.

Peer Led Exercise Group - Mon thru Thurs, from 11am-12pm at Gabriola Rec Society Office (beside the elementary school). Sat Nov 18 - Christ Church Gabriola Christmas Tea & Bazaar at the Community Hall, 2pm-4pm. Baking, plants, crafts, frozen soups, granny table & more.

Sat., Nov. 18 - Christmas Craft Fair at the Commons & Rollo Centre. 10am-3pm. Over 30 local Artisans and Crafters are working hard to create the most amazing gifts - jewellrey, glass, soaps, wearables and edibles will delight all of your senses, and fit every budget.  Visit the Commons Room for the Gift Basket Raffle, Gifts-by-donation table and Commons-wear.  Shop local, then pull up a seat for a coffee and yummy treats from our kitchens.
