Tues., Oct. 30 - Radio After Dark is once again casting spells of hilarity and horror as they recreate the Golden Age of Radio in live performances of The Revenant and Our Miss Brooks Halloween Show, complete with sound effects, period costumes and the occasional hysterical blooper! Thurs., Nov. 1 - Gabriola Garden Club meeting at 7:30 p.m. Dorothee Kieser, Building a Greenhouse. Imagine eating fresh produce all year long! Gabriola Island Ratepayers is hosting a public meeting to discuss various aspects of our BC Ferries services and options for the link to Vancouver Island. A number of panelists from Gabriola will make short presentations about the features of this issue. It is hoped that others will add new thoughts to the discussion. Sat., Dec. 1 - Gabriola Elementary School Christmas Craft Fair: Sign up day for the Christmas Craft Fair at the Gabriola Elementary School will be on Fri., Oct. 12. Sign-up is from 9 to 10 a.m. in the school multi-purpose room. The Christmas Craft Fair at the School will be from 10am-4pm. The cost for vendor space is $60.
