Thurs., Nov. 1 - Gabriola Garden Club welcomes guest speaker Terri Perrin, Fine Art of Intention Feng Shui. Presentation: More Than A Red Door: Feng Shui for Outdoor Spaces; how we can create beautiful gardens that will nurture our spirits and change our lives. Rollo Centre. Doors open 6:30 pm, Program 7:00 pm.

Mon. Nov. 5 - EmPower Gabriola and the Gabriola Community Investment Co-op. 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Gabriola Arts & Heritage Centre. Open House to launch two new co-ops on Gabriola.  Drop in to learn more and become members.

Fri., Nov. 9 - Gabriola Songs Gala CD Concert. 7 pm at the Gabriola Island Community Hall. Featuring 20 Gabriola Musical Acts, after-party with All Star Jam Band. Sat., Nov 17 - Solitary Refinement, coming to the Gabriola Community Hall  - live performance (1-man) with multi-media, human drama about 1 man’s time of years in solitary confinement for his beliefs. Free Admission, contributions accepted. 7pm.

Sat., Nov. 10 - Spinners, Weavers, Art and More Craft Sale. 10am-4pm. Rollo Seniors Centre. Join us as we begin a new tradition.

Sat., Nov. 10 –30th Annual Christmas Tea and Bazaar. Community Hall. 2-4pm. Christ Church Gabriola sponsor.  A great selection of baking, books, frozen soups, plants, crafts, and Granny Table items. Admission free. Tea $7per person.

Sat., Nov. 17 - Jingle Bell Craft Fair. 10am-3pm. At the Gabriola Golf Course

Sat., Nov.17 - Deck the Halls Craft Fair at the Commons & Rollo Centre (10-3). Over 35 tables, Raffle Baskets and yums from the kitchens. Info at smarrie745@gmail.com

Wednesdays - Family Storytime at the Gabriola Library. 10:30am – 11 am

Thursdays - French Conversation Circle at the Gabriola Library. 1pm to 2pm.

Peer Led Exercise Group - Mon & Wed @ HOPE Centre 11am-12pm; Tues & Thurs at Gabriola Rec. Office 11am-12pm; Fri @ Community Hall, 10:45am – 11:45am. Drop-in fee $2. Circuit-style exercise program is safe and supportive for those who are managing chronic health conditions.
