Sat., Sept. 22 - Vegeteers Film Screening. 1 pm. Drop in to the Library for a screening of the film What the Health, a surprising and at times hilarious investigative documentary that will be an eye-opener for everyone concerned about our nation’s health and how big businesses influence it. Sat., Sept. 22 - Harvest Party at the Surf Lodge - CANCELLED. Instead, the Gabriola Auxiliary presents The Big Draw for Island Healthcare. Tickets on sale September 1st at The GABE Shop.

Sun., Sept. 23 - Joyful Sounds for the Spirit - 7-9pm at The Roxy. Traditional instruments for spiritual practices and chant; inspirational soundings from several musicians. Traditional Native Drum, Native American Flutes, Harmonium with Chant, Chants in Arabic and Farsi, Didgeridoo, Crystal Bowls. Hosted by The Gabriola Ecumenical Society. Wednesdays - Commons Mid-Week Market. Local farmers will be at the Timber Frame structure on the Commons every Wednesday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
