Words falling like leaves: writing course returns
Monday, October 6 2008
Patricia Ludwick is once again offering her course in writing as shared experience, beginning October 15th. Whether you want to write about your own life, your family history, your work or travels, to explore a new form such as blogs, to integrate words into visual art, or just for the joy of playing with words, you are welcome to join a group of like-minded folks once a week on Gabriola through this time of falling leaves.
The group will meet every Wednesday morning, October 15th through November 26th, 10 am to noon: two hours to reflect on the ways writing works to convey not just facts, but what lies between and beyond the words - the awareness held in the heart.
No experience necessary: beginners and repeat participants welcome. For further information and to register, call Patricia at 250-247-8990 or e-mail her at writershaven@uniserve.com.
Patricia Ludwick has written for stage, radio, and screen, and published poetry and nonfiction in literary anthologies and magazines. She has been working with writers as an editor and manuscript consultant for over thirty years, and has taught in the creative writing departments at UBC and Vancouver Island University, as well as conducting workshops in communities across Canada.
