Appreciation of Doctors is real here on Gabriola!

Gabriolan Doctors are appreciated! At full capacity, Surf Lodge provided an excellent meal and service to honour the medical doctors and their staff on Gabriola. For some doctors it was a farewell, for others with their wives it was an affirmation of the respect and appreciation islanders have for their doctors. For everyone it was a chance to meet and greet at a grand social affair.
Kudo’s must go to Nancy and Judith and the Surf Lodge staff for pulling it together in such a short time. Thank you to North Douglas Food Services of Nanaimo and Michael Brown. The Village Foods and the quilting ladies provided a wonderful table of desserts to round out the buffet, and all in all it was a very good evening indeed!
