We’d like to let Gabriolans know that we have closed our business, Global Havens, formerly Gabriola Island Vacation Rentals. Because of the new bylaws introduced by the Islands Trust regarding vacation rentals, our company dwindled until it was no longer viable.
We wish to thank Gabriolans for their support over the 12 years as you called upon us to house your friends and guests when you couldn’t. We had a lot of fun providing accommodation for families, some of whom returned to become an integral part of our community.
If you are renting your cottage or home out privately, please let us know, as we continue to get frequent requests for accommodation and would be happy to pass along your name.
