The Gabriola Garden Club’s next meeting will occur on Thursday, October 2nd at the Agi Hall and will be a very informative meeting. Sonia Baker will tell us how to take cuttings - this is an excellent time of year for this - and will also tell us what else to do in the garden this month.
Phyllis Fafard will give us advice on how to pot up and label plants, and Ken Stefanson will regale us with stories and information about growing garlic. This is the time of year to plant garlic. Bulbs will be available for sale. Doors open at 7 pm with refreshments available before the presentation which starts at 7:30 pm. (Note: please bring your own coffee mug so we can avoid using styrofoam cups whenever possible.)
