The concentrated commercial fishery continues on the chum salmon off Snake Island. I wonder what the projected run is into the Nanaimo River this year?

There is a chum salmon gillnet opening off Nanaimo Harbour and in front of Gabriola, including the Rockfish Conservation Area that runs from Tinson Point, to Snake Island, to Jack’s Point.
