Chinook fishing is coming on strong. The numbers are higher off the Fingers, but fishing in 600 to 900 feet of water straight out from Silva Bay has been productive the past week.

Chinook fishing has picked up, with most anglers bringing home fish in the 10 to 15 pound size category. Offshore, Fingers (at the Humps), Entrance and the Flat Tops in the 600 to 900 foot depth are the target zones. Downrigger depths run 120 to 180 feet.
