    In order to protect the resident orcas’ favourite food, and limit the catch of some Lower Fraser tributaries chinook, DFO has reduced the daily limit of chinook to one per person starting June 1. Whether this is based on hopeful fantasy or sketchy science, it is now law. I can personally live with this change in order to preserve chinook stocks.
