The Gabriola Fire Protection Improvement District will not be having a regular meeting in July, but will be calling a Special meeting when the Building Committee has selected the General Contractor, for Board approval. The date of that meeting will be posted in the Upcoming Events once the Sounder is notified by the Board.

Victor Anthony is hosting a Green Bike a series of four workbees this coming weekend in hopes of getting a small fleet of Green Bikes on the road for Canada Day. He could definitely use some help with this endeavour so if you’ve got the time and the inclination, here are the specifics: When: Saturday (June 23) 9am-noon and 1pm til 4, and the same times on Sunday (June 24). Four workbees in all at The Commons. What to bring: Tools, spare parts, a workstand if you have one, floor pump. No experience necessary.
