For those who wonder about the ‘crosswalk to no where’ located between the Commons and Elementary School, word was received this week from Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure that, “The ministry is planning to extend the culvert at the entrance to the school in the next few weeks.  Material will be placed on top of the culvert to create a pathway over the culvert so pedestrians can travel in a straight line from the existing crosswalk.  A railing will be installed to enhance safety for pedestrians.”
