Penny Cook, Administrator

Gabriola Ambulance Society

Tuesday, July 14 2015

The directors of the Gabriola Ambulance Society are pleased to congratulate Fairyn Bye, recipient of the $2,000 annual scholarship awarded by the Society to a Gabriola student who is pursuing a career in the medical field.

Fairyn is pursuing dentistry at the University of Victoria. We wish her every success!

The Ambulance Society offers its members three benefits: loan of medical equipment, payment of user fees for ambulance service, and assistance in the home when medically necessary.

The Society also supports first aid training on Gabriola by paying half of the fees charged to participants.

Our name, the Gabriola Ambulance Society, often confuses people, and they think we provide ambulance services on Gabriola.

Since 1976, the BC Ambulance Service has been responsible for ambulance service on Gabriola.

Call 911 if you need an ambulance.
