Thrasher is still the place to be for good Chinook fishing. Try water depths of 160 to 180 feet on the East side of the structure. Downrigger depths are 140 to 160 feet. Bait in clear green scale Rhys Davis teasers, spoons in Silver/Blue or Evil Eye, or the T-Rex hoochie are lures of note. Some undersized have entered the area, but there are some nice 8 to 14 pounders in the mix. Grande to waterfall seems to have tailed off, and Neck point is still showing undersized to legals in about a 10 to 1 ratio. Porlier usually heats up about now, and is worth the run if you feel like burning some fuel.

Prawning is good off the Flat Tops. Just remember to release the larger spawning females. Try the 350 to 400 foot contour, with tuna cat food as bait.

Happy New Year!
