Thrasher is still very good chinook fishing. Try fishing near the bottom in 150 to 170 feet of water with bait in Rhys Davis teasers, the Killy McGee or Evil Eye spoon, or the T-Rex hoochie. Dane reports that Tent Island is just going off. One boat landed six chinook between 18 and 22 pounds, another caught a 28 pounder. These are huge winter fish. The largest fish I’ve ever taken in winter weighed 18 pounds. The fish are holding on the 80 foot hump, and bottom bouncing is the preferred method.

Prawning is good off the Flat Tops. Try tuna cat food on the 350 foot contour for best results.

Good fishing!
