Fishing Report for January 13, 2021

The weather continues to be problematic, as fishing days are few. Chinook fishing is basically the same, with medium numbers of fish being taken at Thrasher, Grande through Whalebone, and Neck Point. The high majority of these fish are undersized, with the occasional keeper in the mix. Bottom bouncing 160 feet of water with Mongoose or Cookies and Cream spoons, the Blue Meany or T-Rex hoochie, or green/white or pearl Tomic plugs is the best approach.

Prawning is closed off the Flat tops until January 15th, at which time it opens for two weeks. Thrasher remains open for prawning in Areas 29-3, 4 and 5.

Good fishing!
