My boat has been out of the water the past few days, so I haven’t been fishing. Reports from Clyde and Jack indicate that things have slowed down for Chinook in that time period. November is kind of an off month some years for Chinook. December kicks off the true winter fishery for this species. Try bottom bouncing Grande to Whalebone in depths of 160 to 220 feet. Lures of choice include the Cookies and Cream spoon, or the Blue Meany hoochie.

Prawning is still great off the Flat Tops. Inspect your catch closely for female spawners! It is now illegal to keep berried prawns.

  Good fishing!
