The three top flashers I’ve ever used are the Hot Spot one side fluorescent green, Purple Haze, and Plaid.

My favorite spoons include the Coyote or Silver Horde in Cop Car (black/white), Mongoose (glow green/silver), Killy McGee (Two tone UV green/silver), Kitchen Sink (black/white/green), Bob Marley (black and white scale, with UV green stripe), glow green/white, Irish Creme (glow green/white), Army Truck (red, green/glow white), or the green/silver Kripple K.

Favorite hoochies include the Army Truck, green spackleback, glow white, gold fleck, and squirt Oil Slick. Naturally, for the socks and pinks, the small pink hoochies are the cure.

Salmon jigs include the Perkins in black/silver, green/silver, blue/white, the MacDeep, and the new (to me) Lil Nib.

Everyone has their own favorite lures that they fish frequently. Belief in their productivity is crucial to success. I am not one to change lures every fifteen minutes, as some people do.

When the bite comes on, I want something that is proven in front of the fish. The Bob Marley caught my attention at Harbour Chandler for two reasons.

It is a combination of my two favorite colors, but with the new UV twist. Second, Dane had it made especially for him, and he has never led me astray when it comes to lures. So, that, and the Killy McGee were the two additions to my tackle box this year that really made me happy!

Good fishing!
