Chinook fishing was again sketchy last week, as most of the adult fish have moved towards the rivers. Thrasher, Entrance/Orlebar, Neck Point, Hudson Rock, and Icarus all have the occasional legal Chinook cruising through, but there is no consistency to the fishery. Depths are variable, we hooked fish at 80 feet and 220 feet at Thrasher this week. Lures of choice include bait in Rhys Davis teasers, the Evil Eye and Pink Sink spoon, or small Tomic plugs.

The Coho and Pinks are scarce in numbers, too. Thrasher, Entrance, and Neck Point have the odd fish being kept both jigging and trolling.

Ling fishing continues off Thrasher and Entrance Reefs. Try large plastics, bait, or jigs in 30 to 100 feet of water.

Prawning is good off the Flat Tops. Try tuna cat food fished on the 350 foot contour for best results.

Good fishing!
