This summer, the Gabriola Museum is excited to be offering new summer programs for kids. These fun and educational programs will focus on the natural history of Gabriola and showcase the local artists of our vibrant community. Outdoor programs include orienteering, Beach Quest days, predator/prey, petroglyphs and a bike week culminating in a day trip to Newcastle Island. These programs will include educational games and fun outdoor activities. For our art programs, kids can learn ukulele with Lee Kerr and Cathy Welch, hand drumming with Dave McGrath, watercolour with Melinda Wilde, quilting with Kristin Miller and stilting with Melissa Nobels.

These programs will be an excellent opportunity to have fun and learn new skills from some amazing local artists.

To register for our summer kids programs, stop by the Museum during opening hours or drop by our stand at the farmer’s market on Saturdays. For any more information feel free to email or call the Museum at 250-247-9987.
