Ladies Day on Tuesday started out wet and many of our ladies opted out of playing this week. Seven ladies headed out just as the rain stopped. We played ‘bingo bango bongo.’

There are three points to win on each hole, first on the green, closest to the pin and one putt to hole out.

Lesley Hazeldine had a slow start but came out the winner with twenty points while three ladies tied for second with sixteen. For a second week in a row Dyan Dunsmoor-Farley got a chip in, this time on hole one.

Friday guys had 17 players out on this windy but sunny day. Al Tanner had the lowest score with a net 70. Ted Caldwell & Dan Eliuk tied for second with 72. Gerry Nittel won our masked monkey for the most 3 putts. Three of our other guys each had a four putt donation penalties to put into our kitty.

There was no Mens’ Day on Wednesday, the course was closed to punch and sand the greens and clean up the bunkers, thanks to the volunteers who came out to assist our greens crew.

Our greens should be back in great shape soon.

Nine of our golfers went to March Meadows on Tuesday, they played a scramble format and 4 of the 9 won prizes.

Andre Lemieux won the Longest Putt and Gerry Nittel won the KP.

My apologies to the other 2 winners I didn’t get the details

Anyone who wants to play on Ladies or Men’s Day are welcome to come and join the fun.

Happy Golfing
