Do you live with pain? Pain can erode our quality of lifea- our relationship to friends and family. It can make hobbies and once loved past times seem out of reach.  Pain may be from arthritis, repetitive strain injury, post stroke or surgical pain, neuralgias, diabetic neuropathy muscular pain do to MS.  If so you are invited to come to the Chronic Pain Self-Management Program at the Gabriola Fire Hall for six Thursdays, October 10-November 14 from 12:30 to 3 pm.  The program is Free and you will also receive a Resource book “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain”.  Even if you learn one thing that will put you on the path to wellness it will be worth it. 

The Chronic Pain Self-Management Program is for adults who have chronic pain. It is an interactive workshop covering a range of strategies and tools to help you manage your pain and move into living a healthy and fulfilling life. The program is sponsored by People for a Healthy Community and UVIC-Institute on Aging & Lifelong Health
