The Board of Directors of the Haven Foundation are pleased to announce that we have hired Warren Fraleigh to be the Executive Director after a thorough and inclusive interview process.

His start date is July 10.

Warren has extensive experience as Executive Director of the Building Trades of Alberta. He has worked with Boards and not-for-profit organizations, both professionally and in a volunteer capacity, with complex and varied administrative and leadership responsibilities including the delivery of educational programs.

He has a Masters Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University. His background is well suited to prepare him for the complexities of The Haven and of the role of the Executive Director.

Warren and his wife Irene are building a home on Gabriola and will soon move from Edmonton.

Warren is an amateur percussionist, a nature enthusiast, a lover of books and intends to pursue an artistic interest in creating metal art. He and Irene are looking forward to becoming a part of the Gabriola community.

We express our appreciation to Rachel Davey for her many years of guidance as Executive Director.

The organization has grown and prospered. We are excited about what is to come at The Haven.
