An addition to the GaLTT Reflections on Tree Cutting in June 9 Sounder.

Wednesday, June 23 2021

Spring and summer are the worst times of the year to cut down trees as far as the occupants of woodlands are concerned.

Two, four, six, and more, legged inhabitants are at their busiest time for reproduction.  Bird nesting, mammals, insects, arachnids, reptiles, amphibians, other animals, soil fauna and flora, fungi and their inter-relationships are all affected.  We are too if we are knowledgeable about all the environmental relationships.
