Schedule in some make-up days

Snow days are great.

Lost instructional time is not.

Educators and parents alike spent 16 years fighting the provincial government for there to be better instructional time for students.

What we need is an educational version of stoppage time as used in soccer - essentially any time lost to a break in play (for substitutions, purposeful wastage of time, or injuries) is added on to the end of the game.

Plan in a couple PD days - call them ‘extra days’ and put them at the end of the school year. If there’s no loss of days due to weather (or the school flooding); everyone gets a few days off in the beautiful spring weather.

But if there’s a day where time is lost (like monday and tuesday this week), those days are made up using the extra days.
